The pearling industry in Dubai has been of a huge importance. Around 1900 more than 90% of the population was depending on diving, trading, boatbuilding just for this reason. Around 1200 ships went offshore in summertime.
Under the guidance of a local guide we discover the private collection of an Emirati businessman at the Pearl Museum inside Emirates NBD HQ in Deira, where we enjoy an amazing view over the city.
We end this special tour in an typical Indian vegetarian restaurant where we enjoy a lavish three course lunch.
During this tour we also have a drive through the sheikh’ palaces area and the most beautiful mosque of Dubai in Zabeel.
