Van onze twee weken vakantie heb jij er 3 dagen verzorgd en dat was gewoon geweldig. Jou kennis van mensen en bezienswaardigheden was voor ons een openbaring. Naast Dubai ook Sharjah en Abu Dhabi bezocht met alles wat maar interessant was. Heel knap hoe Hetty alles plande en organiseerde. WONDERFUL TRIP TO DUBAI
My husband and I were immediately made to feel welcome by a smiling charming lady, HETTY, our guide, when met at the Dubai airport and taken to our hotel. The next morning after settling in and a leisurely hotel breakfast, we were picked up by HETTY and taken to a generous-sized Toyota Coaster and a kind, pleasant driver, Saman. Every day for a week was interesting, well-planned out and thoughtful of our interests. Not only did we visit the highlights of beautiful Dubai, we travelled to other emirates, visited oasis and the desert. We were especially thrilled to experience camel racing. HETTY was always so well prepared, so well informed and so conscientious of our well being it made our trip one of the most memorable of our lives. We were a group of ten friends, well -travelled and would say HETTY was truly an excellent guide with a lovely personality. On the last evening at the airport, it was like saying goodbye to a good friend. We would like to take her as our guide anywhere in the future!!!!

I went on an expat tour of Sharjah yesterday with a small group led by Hetty. The points of interest were very good and I learned a lot. It was very fun in nature while at the same time informative. Although the day was from 9-5 I felt that not one part of the day ‘dragged’ on and I enjoyed every part. Hetty is always willing to alter the programme to suit the group and at the same time she is extremely well organised. She keeps everyone on a strict timeline to keep the day moving, which I found to be very helpful. Everything was very clearly explained, meeting points explained, and Hetty somehow managed to control the group in the most pleasant of manner so that the group does not feel at all controlled! Our day had great variety and although I have lived in Dubai for 12 years I have not visited any of the destinations. While planning our trip to Dubai, friends strongly advised us to contact Hetty for a tour. We visited the company site and read two things: tours and referrals. Beste Hetty, Je hebt voor ons bedrijf (25 personen) een prachtig programma samengesteld om Abu Dhabi te ontdekken. Helaas was je zelf niet in de mogelijkheid om ons rond te leiden, maar je regelde voor ons een zeer goede, leuke en ervaren gids. We hebben veel architectuur bekeken en de Grand Mosque bezocht. De gids wist veel interessante en leuke informatie over eigenlijk alles in Abu Dhabi. Ook zijn we op jouw verzoek gaan dune bashen in de woestijn en hebben we `s avonds de skyline bewonderd vanaf een boot. Hartelijk bedankt voor het regelen van deze onvergetelijk reis!

Wij vroegen Hetty ons drieen een dag mee op tour te nemen naar Fujairah. Wat ons betreft geen noodzaak om de “gebaande paden” te bewandelen of luxe lunches te regelen. Het werd een hele leuke dag, Op de eerste plaats is Hetty zelf een deskundige, maar vooral ook een ontspannen gids. Met een prima chauffeur reden we oostwaarts. Hier en daar een kijkje nemend, en de mogelijkheid om zelf aan te geven of we ergens even wilden stoppen. Hetty wist zelfs van de sanitaire stop een avontuurtje te maken…
Ze heeft er zelf ook aardigheid in om eens even een nieuwe weg of straat te proberen, dat maakt zo’n dag leuker. Wat ons betreft, als je maatwerk zoekt met begeleiding van een relaxte en deskundige gids, dan is Hetty een echte aanrader.

Tours with Hetty are special. She had specially organized one-day-tour to Al-Ain for my son and me. She is professional and very well informed. The arrangements were perfect and very comfortable (specially Benz car). We visited all the places she had promised. Visit to the camel race tracks was a perfect start. We returned to Dubai on time. My son also enjoyed the tour and he clicked 450 pictures! Phew!

Alan and I enjoyed the camel tour very much. It was the best managed tour we have ever been on. The quality of bus and driving, drop off, refreshments, timing, information about camels and the wonderful knowledge and access at the race course to seating, toilets etc. The pace was gentle and relaxed and altogether it was a very enjoyable day.

I would highly recommend Hetty for anyone visiting Dubai or Abu Dhabi. My boyfriend and I were in the UAE for less than 48 hours total. We contacted Hetty just a few days before our expected trip. She responded immediately and quickly put together a personalized itinerary for us, helping us make the most of our short visit. She arranged all of our transportation as well as reserved tours and excursions. During our drives she would give us talks about the history and customs of the area, nearby attractions, political figures and the economy of the UAE. She also provided a personal tour of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and had the forethought to bring an extra abaya for me to wear. We thoroughly enjoyed our short vacation, and hope to return very soon. Needless to say, we will be contacting Hetty for our next excursion, as well.

Vorig jaar heb ik met 6 vrienden een super leuke tour geboekt bij Hetty. We gingen al vroeg op pad om de kamelenrace te zien, heel erg gaaf en exclusief! Geen één andere toerist gezien, wel de auto van de Sjeik! Daarna zijn we naar het oude Dubai gegaan, waar we langs een hele bijzonder atelier zijn geweest. Hier waren jonge mensen met een beperking aan het schilderen, wat een mooie plaats!
De lunch was geregeld, heerlijk gegeten aan het water na een bezoek aan Dubai museum. Daarna nog naar de kruiden- en goud Souk geweest, het strand en Palm Island. Zoveel afwisseling en veel gezien van Dubai. Hetty is een hele fijne gids, echt een aanrader!!

Wij waren met 4 volwassenen en 4 tieners een week in Dubai. Hetty heeft ons op de 2e vakantiedag alle mooie plekjes in Dubai laten zien. Het was ook leuk voor de kids omdat ze haar makkelijker vragen konden stellen dan bij een Engelse gids. Wij hebben een hele gezellige dag met Hetty gehad.

In april zijn wij voor het eerst in Dubai geweest en hebben een super tour gehad van Hetty. We contacted Hetty at fairly short notice to see whether she could help us with a day tour from Dubai to Al-Ain.
Unfortunately for us (and fortunately for her), her tours are so popular that she was already booked for the only day that we were available. These things happen, and we didn’t expect to hear anything further.
What made the difference for us was that she then came back to us and offered to put us in contact with another company whose quality of service she could personally endorse.

Onze ervaringen/commentaar:
In september 2014 hadden wij de gelegenheid om op weg naar de Seychellen 1 volle dag van Dubai te genieten.
Via via, zo gaat dat, kregen wij de contactgegevens van Hetty, thans officieel “Tours for You”, in handen.
Je hebt het voor ons super geregeld. Een gids voor de hele dag, Janine en een aardige chauffeur – onopvallend en toch altijd in de buurt.
Oud- en nieuw Dubai gezien en meegemaakt. Imposant dagverblijf/school voor invalide kinderen bezocht. Ongelooflijk lief ontvangen. De kunst die zij maakten zou in menigeen westers huis niet misstaan. Voor zover mogelijk in 12 uur hebben wij een heel mooie impressie van Dubai gekregen en komen zeker nog een keer terug.
Enne, voordat ik het vergeet, op de dag van onze doorreis naar Seychellen hebben wij super genoten van een rondvlucht over Dubai en de “werelddelen” met een watervliegtuig. Dat was een top afsluiting, waarvoor alsnog dank!!

The rare occurrence of bad weather (clouds, rain!) in Dubai, what to do? Call Hetty!

Hetty was our savior from another day in a Dubai shopping mall;) Despite the very last minute notice she was able to set up a great tailor made tour to neighboring emirate Sharjah.The tour included amongst others a visit to the university campus (great architecture!) where Hetty told us a lot of fun facts about the campus life in Sharjah. After this we went to the Islamic Museum, definitely a tip to go here with Hetty if you’re interested in getting a better understanding of the Islam. We also went to the beautiful old Souk of Sharjah and a neighboring fish market, where we tasted a bit more of the local life. Overall the tour was great fun and a nice break from all the glitz and glam in Dubai.

If you’re looking for local insights, a tailor made, personal and fun tour I would definitely recommend a tour with tours for you!

The best tour that I’ve ever taken! We were seven friends who came from around the world to reunite for a trip together in Dubai, and we got such a personalized, experienced tour from Tours For You. We were picked up in the morning, by a very sweet tour driver and our amazing guide Hetty, and then taken for a great tour of Dubai’s Old Town. We learned so much about Dubai’s history and culture, had a delicious, traditional lunch, met Youseff the spice guru, and finished off with a fabulous sunset cocktail on the beach. Met onze familie ( ouders en 3 volwassen kinderen plus aanhang) voor een cruise een Dubaitour gedaan met “Toursforyou”. Het was allemaal goed geregeld. Hetty wachtte ons op op het vliegveld en na de Tour werden we afgezet bij het schip. We konden vooraf, maar ook nog tijdens de Tour aangeven wat we wilden zien. Lekker flexibel en Hetty doet goede suggesties.

Mijn vrouw en ik hebben op vrijdag 13 Februari 2015 een prive excursie gehad een hele dag van 09.00 u tot 17.00 u.met Hetty Post in Dubai wij hadden een 15 tal locaties opgegeven welke Hetty op een fijne ontspannende en gezellige manier heeft gedaan wij geven een opsomming van de excursie: Sharjah; University City Sharjah -Ouaran rotonde – gereden over de Corniche naar Ajman – gestopt bij Islamic Museum for Civilization en Sharjah Creek – gereden langs de vissershaven – een stop gedaan bij Blue Souk -en koffie gedronken bij Al Quasba -daarna richting Dubai Bastakya Dubai – XVA Arthotel – langs de Zabeel paleizen – naar de buurt waar de Emirati,s wonen – de lunch bij Souk al Bahar – Dubai Mall – Sheikh Zayed Road en als laatste het Palmeiland , toen naar ons hotel waar we dankbaar terug keken op een prachtige onvergetelijke dag en wij Hetty van harte kunnen aanbevelen.
